Kate is a maternal psychiatric illness and behavioral health expert with a passion for perinatal mental health. With a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University and advanced certification from Postpartum Support International, Kate has over 10 years of experience in cross-cultural research and intervention design. As a mom of three, she's also a strong advocate for maternal and familial health.
Kate's work at the National Institutes of Health focused on helping caregivers reduce stress and anxiety associated with prolonged hospitalization. With 12 peer-reviewed articles under her belt, Kate is a Jordan coordinator for PSI and an expert in Attachment Theory and using evidence-based methods to help women through major life transitions.
